January Transfer Update - Feb 23rd

So this is the date released on twitter by EASPORTSFIFA, then echoed on the EA forums by Robb who is the community manager on the EA forums as to when the transfer updates are taking place and the squads will be able to use in online squads, career mode (only if you start a new one), kick off etc..

Oh, haha, fair enough. You should never lose a 1-0 lead at home, especially when Zigic scores 4 against you. By gosh he is awful. I hear your new manager (caretaker?) has got 3 weeks to decide his fate.

Yeah he wont get it, i wouldn't mind if he does but bates will defiantly bring someone in.

I'm actually glad Zigic done what he did, was losing patience with Grayson, i wanted him out a few weeks before, really was clueless at times.

Downing and Carroll? I've never saw Carroll ever do a trick but then again, I don't watch him much but Downing,I knew he was a tricky player but not a 5* skiller for me. I'm not sure with Agger, never really saw him play. Also, I've just checked the Birmingham squad and Zigic is a 3 star skiller. Wow! I've never seen him do even a ball roll. At least they have downgraded him to a 71.

In fairness, if any one central defender in the game was gonna get 5* skills, I think Agger was the man for it.

Hopefully they'll change them so they are a better representation of the players, the new loans still have to be updated so they should update both of them at the same time. Whether they will or not remains to be seen.

I don't think so Andy, I think they have a seperate Database thing.


I can confirm an error was made in the Liverpool ratings. Gonna find out if/when that can be fixed today I hope.


I can also confirm it was nothing to do with me. If it had been, the team would be renamed LiverBEAST.

Big news regarding the roster update is that 6 (yes SIX!) Liverpool players have been awarded 5 star skill moves. Downing, Gerrard, Adam, Henderson, Agger and Carroll all became 5 star skillers in a bizarre move.

'Mistake' from reading the tweets Brummy posted above.

Norwich also didn't do so well in the update. Pilks even got downgraded to a 65. :-/ he's having a brilliant season for us.

Yep...you can. Not updated yet though. I read the part about Vancouver Whitecaps having 4 - 5*ers and wanted to see who they be. I'm headed over to Orlando this Sunday to see them play .
