I'm really tempted to pop this on a preorder on shopto but i'm thinking i might lose interest quite easily like other Street games. Fingers crossed i don't. I reckon it'll hit a pricedrop quickly though hopefully so i might wait till then. Really fancy this AND SSX!

Hopefully the servers will be fully up and running like they were for FIFA 12, so you can do 100% online play when the early release is out.

Why is this happening?
GAME are a hugely popular brand with gamers of all ages. The high street is having a tough time at the moment because people have less money to spend. We're doing as much as we can to give our customers the widest possible range during this time, but as flagged before, we need our partners help in order to do this. We want to be in a position where we're selling as much of their products as we possibly can. We need their help to do this and that's what we're working on at the moment.

I'll tell you why this is happening.

Game overprice everything and don't compete even slightly with sites like amazon and shopto. They offer terrible trade in value and rubbish customer support and it's all finally catching up to them.

Putting the name GAME on shops has obviously stopped drawing in the mothers and fathers of this world from assuming it's the only shop selling things for their sons Xbox.

My friend works for gamestation and he's made it clear the reasons behind this.

Basically Game are skint, so instead of using actual currency, they tried to persuade EA to take credit for the games instead, but EA not being complete mugs told them to stuff it as they no doubt know just like the rest of the world that Game almost went into administration not long ago and realised they probably wouldn't see penny one of this credit for a long time. So Game threw a huff and refused to stock their titles, or at least thats their story EA probably refused to give them the games because they wouldn't pay for them.

There we have it. I'll never order from them again, that's for sure!

I have bought two games from GAME in the past, and both the times I have paid more cash than the game is worth. Both them times they didn't give me any change. One of the times I paid £30 for a £25 game, but the people on the counter didn't give me my change for some reason. I asked why and then said I paid £25 :facepalm: I managed to get my £5 after five minutes of arguing that I paid £30 /sas

From now on I'm buying my games either online or from Gamestation. Game sucks big time.

Yep, wouldn't surprise me at all tbh. I'll always have fond memories of walking in at the weekends as a kid and being in awe of all the new games sitting around. I'll never pay £39.99 for a game again though if there's cheaper elsewhere. One of life's lessons ;)

Received an email from asda this morning with a code for £5 off preorders. They included ME3, Max Payne 3, Ghost Recon FS, Prototype 2.....and FIFA Street :) So it's possible to get the game on both ps3 and 360 for £32.47 :)

I use to order from game, back when they had £5 off discount codes, double reward points for pre orders and quidco cashback... you could end up getting a £40 game for £30.
