I can't wait to see him in action, I've heard a lot about him, but never had the chance to watch him. Looking forward to see him and hopefully Hulk in the prem.

Good signing for Man Utd. Play him behind Rooney in a 4-2-3-1 formation and he'll excel.

But Rooney plays better in that centre forward role.

But that didn't happen, so there ya go ;)
I think it's a great signing for United but was it the BEST choice?

I think it's a great signing for United but was it the BEST choice? they only signed him for 17 million and are also looking at other players

He'll be a great signing hopefully. I've watched some videos on youtube. Seen him described as the asian messi haha!
Hazard is way too big for his boots for me.

But Rooney plays better in that centre forward role.
Nah not at all, Rooney has slotted into that role as we have been missing "that" player. I'm not saying Kagawa is the one, although I can see why paying £17m for a 23yr old is better than the older and dearer Sneijder. Kagawa should slot in nicely behind Rooney now allowing him to be the out n out striker he wants to be.

United got a bargain I think. If his contract wasn't going to expire next season they would have had to pay more.
Look forward to seeing him in English football.

We were up against him in the CL Group stage last season, and although he scored against us in the dying seconds in one of the games (thanks to Djourou...) thats pretty much all he did worth noting.
He has been impressive in the Bundesliga though for sure.

Should be interesting to see how he does.
Will be nice to see Rooney playing as a proper striker for a change too. He drops back far too much.

Good to see some more stars coming out of Asia. Keisuke Honda is still my favorite though

Hope to see Kagawa do well though!

Still best Asian player I've seen play was Nakamura! That goal against united in the champions league in 06 is still by far my faourite ever Celtic goal!

It was a scrappy goal lol. Well the whole Dortmund didn't do well last season in the Champions League due to the lack of experience I feel.

Yeah Nakata was the top Japanese player at the time. After he retired there were no one that stood out in European football. I remember Inamoto playing for Arsenal who wasn't great and Spurs fans may remember Kazuyuki Toda who hardly played.
Nakamura was impressive and now they got Honda and Kagawa. Plus the Japanese team played well in the last World Cup.

Any confirmation on where he will play? I see him playing a more CM kind of role. It makes the most sense because Rooney thrives in that CF position, and Welbeck has the potential to be one of England's best strikers in the coming years. Are Carrick, Scholes, and Fletch all coming back?
