I use VP only in my BAP Career. It is bloody hard on WC difficulty :) To my eternal shame I have turned difficulty down to semi-pro :D

I imagine it would be very hard for you only controlling your pro in the Norwich team, on World Class Jas :D Actually in any difficulty probably because the game won't let Norwich out perform their opponent most of the time I guess.

I only control my VP in my Spurs career. It was difficult to start with but I've got really used to it now. Around 6th in the league I think, pushing for Europe. :D Playing on World Class too.

The defending from the CPU at times on my team is awful. :x Have to help out and run back.

I dont even do the VP Career thing. :D I like controlling the whole team with my VP in it, as I can win the ball back quickly and get it to my player as often as possible, in order to unlock those delicious accomplishments. :cheesy:

Absolutely no messing about from me. My player goes into the Barcelona team, and I play against hideous teams. Needs must when it comes to getting my VP up to speed this time, as Ill be a week behind. :D

I had to control the whole team in FIFA 11 as I just couldn't play as just my Pro on that due to how poor the CPU was. :lol:

It is definitely better now, in the attacking sense anyway with passes unlocking defences etc... If you can time it right it's very rewarding. I also celebrate like a real goal has been scored whenever one of the other players scores, because you aren't in control of them so much, just like real life watching on TV. :D

I'm currently doing my player carrer in Fifa 11 on WC right now, as QPR.

On VP only, you can't trust your teammates to finish it. You'll always be the one trying to score, so I've had much success.

Additionally, I do Entire Team control when my VP is tired (15/16 on Captain, Lelouch rarely gets to skip games to rest) and when I doubt my team will win when I'm only playing as one player.

I don't know how you guys can play it on VP only, it would frustrate me so much. I have played it a few times (by accident, mashing buttons to hurry up playing the game :D) but I just feel like you need to take the game by the scruff of the neck and constantly be on the ball to get anywhere.

I play Player manager so control the whole team plus my pro.. I used to play virtual pro in FIFA 09 which was great fun, but the AI was so terrible that I decided not to play VP only on FIFA 11.. glad to hear its better now :D

Jas My word 4 months injury that is very bad.. Did you guys know you can set injury frequency and injury severity in the settings for your team and for the CPU's team ?

I tried it out in a friendly, set CPU's injuries to the maximum 100 and they were getting injured every 10 minutes hahaa I was laughing so much, they ran out of substitutions LOL

One defender was standing at the corner flag holding his hammy for 5 minutes and he couldn't move :D There was no offside :D LMAO, shame I didn't record..

Oh, I'm a bit late into this thread, but never mind. :D

I only play as VP in PMM/PM, but all in Manager mode with a friend.

I started my PMM with Sc_unthorpe Utd on WC & got them to the Champions League play-offs. Finished 2nd in EPL, needed MU to lose BIG & we win BIG to take the title. We lost, they won. :facepalm:

Anyway, got bored of playing CDM, so I started a Legendary PM as LF with Molde in Norway. The aim was to get them into the Champions League. First, season we were unbeaten with League & Cup double. I scored 38 in 32 games. Champions League here we come!

Easy win in Qualifiers saw us get Barca, Benfica & Ajax. Easy 4-1 home win against Benfica, then 2-1 home defeat to Barca. In last game, 3-3 draw at Barca (2 up twice!) saw us top the table. :eek:

Then beat Chelsea 2-1 at the Bridge (1 down with 5 mins to go), but lost 1-0 at home. Lyon: 1-0 home, 1-1 away. Milan: 3-1 home, 0-1 away, Real Madrid: 2-1 away, 1-0 home. Got savaged by Barca in Final, but managed to hang in for 1-1 at full-time & score twice in extra time to win it. Barca had 62% possession and 3 times more shots!

End of season now, so don't know whether to stay or move on. :D

The one thing that does annoy me playing as only the VP is that my team mates only seem to want to pass to me when I request the ball. May be it was just Molde & a better team would pass it if they saw me in space.
