Yep... I just copied the Xbox club & made it a Public club. What does everyone prefer? If Jas is right, I'm happy to make it private but would that be against the spirit of this forum?

I think it's best to either keep it as public for a bit to get some people in the change it back to private, or get one or two more club managers.

Well, we did play much better with you there. so if you're happy... I suppose we could try other formations,too. Preferences anyone?

All in all I think we played quite well for a first outing. We started passing well to each other & looking ofr space. My passing was shoddy though. Discovered on PESFans that the EA upgrade had reset some peoples settings & I discovered when we finished that mine were all shot, too.

Oh, another thought, I've set the club to allow Friendlies, but it didn't come up as an option: League, Cup, Practice were the only ones. That's why I chose Cup. Am I missing something?

I think friendlies are only matches against other clubs on your friend list?

Basically means that other club captains can invite you to play against their team, if you're in the lobby.

You invite other clubs to play you in a friendly by pressing R1 I think? Then searching for the club name and sending an invite.

Found it thanks, after posting. Seems a but daft you can't have friendlies against any club.

Actually, I think you can play any club. You just search for their name and if they're in the lobby at that time then you should be able to send an invite to play.

Our first league game & a win, followed swiftly by our first defeat. :(

I thght we played well but need pass a bit more. Fed up of getting shoved off the ball & not getting a foul, when I've won the ball being strong & given a foul away. If it wasn't for bad luck we'd have no luck at all.

Hm, same problem here. I think it's a lag issue. We lost that game because I press passed when the guy was 3 yards away, but he still took the ball off me. My biggest bugbear with FIFA is the Call button. It should have an L2 modifier. How can you call for the ball with :cross: & get the ball a second later, but you make a first time pass, because he'd passed it as you call. Yet the darn game can't make a first time pass when you actually DO press the button for one. Bah humbug.

Perhaps it's the lower level teams, but ISTM that most teams we played didn't pass around much or play for each other. We have had some outstanding defending & usually concede because of a defensive error. Probably a bad pass by me! :$

Does anybody else have Skype so we can talk while we play - the PS3 word chat function is so slow and annoying to use. It was great speaking while playing with SamatelloHD, would be even better if more people could join in with the conversation as well. Bobbyavfc, NikE, Magz, Rafa_SLB_, TomLFCHeaven, Xemik. I know some of you don't play clubs often anymore but would be nice to use Skype whenever we do play clubs in the future.

I am now 82% complete for accomplishments, if you do not count Kit & Appearance, Traits & Celebrations and Goalkeeper Accomplishments, I just need 5 more accomplishments. 3 of them are to get Man Of The Match a certain number of times, one is to get 25 clean sheets as a defender and one is to complete 1,200 tackles (403 so far) as a defender. :cool:

Last year, I played for an African team who where in the top 500 in the world. We were doing quite well then suddenly half the team (incl' me) were thrown out without any explanation. I checked back & they'd dropped 4 divisions. Serves them right!

I got to hate FIFA12 trollers, they makes like 30 passes and then shoots over the bar, then I score a goal and they feel scared and takes out a formation with atleast 6 defenders FUN FUN, and then he start to pass all around the game so time runs, and after he wins the game with a Mission Succesfull of 3-2 >.< FML

Well played everyone who played today. Must be a club record; only 2 defeats in 16 league games & currently on a 6 game undefeated run. Would have preferred a few more wins but, hey, we drew 0-0 with a team that pasted us 4-0 not so long ago. :D Rafa is becoming a great ANY, too.

On a personal note, I've played 102 games now & scored 10(!) goals. Apparently, I scored a great header today, but I never saw it coming, Rafa/Bobby's shot just hit my head. :$ Thought Brummy was going to beat me to 100, but he's stuck on 99 & playing COD. :p

They are Ok but I'm think I would have prefered getting the Turtle Beach DPX 7.1, they were £10-£20 less and they are supposed to have really good reviews. My cousin has got them for Christmas, when I go round his and try them out I'll let you know what they're like.

Shame we ended on a defeat, but to get back from 3-0 down to lose 3-2 was well played. In many ways it was one of our best performances of the night. Bet they were sweating at the end, so close to getting an equaliser!

I'd be interested in this but I don't know how to make a decent player and my stats would be rubbish :( Any tips or should I just join and see what happens?

Just make your player and as you play games with it, your player will improve as you do certain tasks, so just create one and send a request to join, just search 'FGN FC'.

A good way to get some quick stats at the start is just to play some BAP games vs the CPU on World Class but with the sliders adjusted, you'll probably find that really boring though. As Brummy said, just join and as you play you'll notice your player getting better.
