A New York squad at risk of missing the MLS Playoffs has been dominating LA with a deserved 2-0 lead, but LA has a free kick in a threatening position with Beckham standing over the ball. Can you battle back for at least a draw?

How are EA running them? is there a new one put up every week.

I think it might be every two days, I've seen about 4 now I think, still haven't bothered doing any though for some reason.

New one everyday at 12:00AM I believe, I've done a few. The ones you play the whole game is boring on semi-pro though.

That LA Galaxy on today though was really tough, scraped a 2-2 after about 10 attempts :ha:

I did this last night after being notified by Jas.

Scored the free kick, of course. :cool: Then like Growler I managed to scrape a 2-2 draw after just giving the ball to Becks all the time and wriggling a way in to shoot. :D

I've dabbled in these. I did the Arsenal/Spurs one the other day and the Juve one too (found it so difficult) They're a neat little addition though. Can't beat a good chunk of XP too :)

Took me a couple as well, CPU seems to try extra hard after you score, so 2 of the times it went to 3-1! very anoying... finally got the 2-2 though :).

I have yet to try it, glad the difficulty has gone up tho! 700xp instead of the usual 600xp as well.

Yeh, not really sure about the Level thing either, apart from the fact you can sound impressive by saying "Look at me! Im Level 20!", or whatever. :D

It's all to do with the My Clubs thing. You select who you support and your XP goes towards helping your club getting more points in the season, like a normal league. The higher the average XP per fan, the more points you get.

Yeah, semi-pro does let you just run past people a bit. It's harder to break Spain down if you try to play properly and pass through them.

I think they put it on Semi-Pro because on Professional it wouldnt be a Challenge, it would be an impossibility. :D

700 xp! computer was pretty decent in this challenge, set to professional difficulty I think.

This is just typical Rutter. I know, lets give people challenges that are not any challenge whatsoever as they shall be on Semi-Pro. :mad:

If this was on Professional, it would be much more difficult. Even a team like Lecce would be a nuisance on that difficulty.

Surely there must be a way for them to adapt the difficulty of these things? Give people who play on higher difficulties more XP or something?

Tbf though EA's argument will be that some people will find these to be challenging, alot of kids etc. still play FIFA on the lowest difficulty because they're not that good :D

Absolutely typical how a challenge involving us has to be on World Class.

I know Ive been moaning about it not being a challenge on previous ones, but the thought of playing against Chelsea on that difficulty is just horrifying. The dreadful generics on Clubs Mode are a total nightmare to do anything against on World Class, so you can only imagine the frustration in trying to get around the likes of Ivanovic, Terry, Cole etc.

This was definitely a challenge! After a few failed attempts I paused and changed to 3-5-2 with RVP at RS and Gervinho LS.. done it straight away after that. All my chances were falling to Ramsey who kept hitting the post or great saves from Cech before. :mad:

Yeh definitely Professional. It says at the top before you click Play Match. :D

I really do hate how the clearances from the CPU go perfectly to the Strikers. Its like the defenders all have the passing ability of Xavi. Its ludicrous.

OMG the Messi chalenge is just Rage!!!, try to play on Legendary it is just wow, when my players get the ball in the back they just clear it randomly, sometimes go out, the others they send to me, and i'm like: ''MAN, CAN'T YOU SEE I'M SMALL, WHY YOU TRY TO PASS TO ME LIKE THAT!!!!'', so the most of the time i never get the ball :|

I tryed in Legenday but i raged so much that i didn't even want to give a go in world class, i like the option to be a player but it should be there a option to control the entire team too, just to stupid :|

I tried it on Legendary. It is just absolute madness on that difficulty it really is, and Im not joking when I say Barcelona did not touch the ball once during the 1st Half as Leverkusen simply passed it around with such precision, so I never even saw the ball playing as Messi up front.

I would just be running around everywhere trying to get the ball back on Legendary. Then by the time I did actually receive the ball, Messi would probably run with it for 2 seconds before pulling up with a hamstring.
