Looking to buy a new TV! have had my current 42" Tosh for around 3 years now and its starting to act up. :(

But buying a TV is so freaking confusing now, I search on avforums and every model seems to have a fault that puts you off ordering.

Plasma or LCD
3D or not 3D

All tho wearing shades while watching TV doesnt appeal to me! I feel like I should buy 3D just to be future proof. :D

This set is winning for me at the moment.

I'll see what my TV is at my dads, such awesome picture quality. My one at my house is meant to be full HD but my one at his house puts the one at my house to shame.

Toshiba I have now has done me well for several years :cool:

As for 3d... doesn't interest me at all... but like you said you feel like you need to for the future.... but I don't think it will be as popular to be honest...

Yeah I just can never see putting on 3D glasses in your own house to watch TV ever catching on. :D

To try get that effect across without the need for glasses and avoiding headaches somehow (unlike 3DS) is a massive, yet very rewarding challenge however.

Yeah I am back to using my little 22" Samsung for gaming again now. :D 27" iMac display was good for a while, until the brightness issue kicked in.

I do enjoy FPS games more on a small monitor. Need big TV for movies and fifa tho!

Decided ill buy that Tosh at weekend.

I use my 29" to play games and watch TV. I have a 32" and can play better on that at my dads though, helps having a sofa bed as well :D

When I get my own flat or something I will get two 24" monitors one for PC and one for xbox then keep my big 37" for movies :cool:
