Electronic Arts will celebrate UEFA EURO 2012™ with the only officially licensed videogame of the 2012 European Football Championship, which begins June 8 in Poland and Ukraine. UEFA EURO 2012™ will be available from April 24th as an expansion pack to fans who own EA SPORTS FIFA 12 on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. It will be priced at £15.99 (1,800 MS Points or 2,500 FIFA Points on PC). UEFA EURO 2012 will recreate all the drama and excitement of the official tournament with all 53 UEFA member national teams, all eight official stadiums in the tournament, and all the pageantry and atmosphere of one of the largest and most-watched sporting events on the planet.

Here is a look at the Expedition Game Mode featured in Fifa's next DLC. It is very similar to how Fifa Street works, where you can beat countries and take players from their teams based on how many victories you have had against them. This shows every angle available in the new game mode. Don't forget the DLC comes out tomorrow for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. See you on the pitch!

Turns out that this DLC is taking FIFA towards the PES Franchise with hardly any licensed teams or kits - an absolute joke!

19 Teams out of 53 have Licensed Kits:

I'm Welsh and can't recognise my country's players, I mean have a look at this:

Nope. can't edit anything. I hope they release another patch with the full compliment of licensed teams, I remember that the World Cup game had all the Welsh players and kits etc, so don't know what the issue is this time. As usual as well, **** all from EA in terms of a reply.

To piss me off even further, there's Kits & Players for England, Scotland, Northern Ireland & Republic of Ireland!!!

On a side note, I can also see this causing an upset amongst some Irish people: Republic of Ireland is called "Ireland" ingame.

I don't think I'll be getting this. If it was about £5-£10, then maybe. But for it not even to have the Wales players which are actually in Fifa 12 and no Ukraine is disgraceful.

EA have ignored me all day, going to send them a strongly worded email tonight. Feel really let down, at the end of the day, all this DLC is is a cosmetic one, so I'd like to think that my £18 pays for 53 teams worth of players and kits, especially when most of them are already in the game already so it cannot be a licensing issue in reality otherwise they wouldn't be in the game in the first place. Really annoyed.

yeah unfortunately I will not be getting this... since when is it 1800 MSP anyway?!? I hope the whole thing flops, and it causes EA to wake up and actually care about their customers. But then again, it is EA....

Bought this earlier. It seems ok for what it is but the licenses issue for Wales is a big big shame.

The gameplay is also a lot different. It feels slow and a tad unresponsive, not too dissimilar to Euro 2008 although I didn't mind that game.

I have only been Wales so far though, so maybe playing as England it will feel a bit faster. I never thought the gameplay would be any different either...
